You can clean the suede bag with steam. Pour water into a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Hold the bag over the steam for 5-10 minutes. Then take a special brush for suede and gently clean. Steam processing is quite effective and does not damage the material.
If the bag is heavily soiled, you can clean it with a warm soapy solution. For cleaning, use liquid soap or detergent for washing delicate fabrics. Dampen the foam sponge or brush with natural bristles and remove impurities. Try to keep the suede from the wrong side. Otherwise, it can lose shape and become rigid. Clean the bag and put it on a towel, folded in several layers. Dry the suede product at room temperature in a well-ventilated area.
A brown suede bag can be cleaned with a brush dipped in the coffee grounds. Wait for complete drying. Coffee grounds remove minor dirt and restore the color of the product.
Difficult stains on the bag, treat with a mixture of ammonia and water, taken in a 1: 4 ratio. It is necessary to moisten the foam sponge in the resulting solution and lightly wring out. Wipe the stain and gently rub it with a brush for suede – it is sold in shoe stores. Then pat the bag with a towel. Do not use force during cleaning – the material may stretch.
Over time, suede starts to shine. To get rid of them, dissolve in a glass of milk 1 teaspoon baking soda. Moisten cotton pad in the resulting liquid and process the bag. You can also wipe the shaded areas with 10% ammonia or vinegar.
A new bag is best treated with a special spray for suede. It covers the material with a thin film, which repels water and does not allow absorption of contaminants. Due to what the subsequent cleaning is much easier.
