A good way to get rid of scars at home is to apply a mixture of green clay and rosemary. To make such a composition, take half a tablespoon of dry clay, drip 3 drops of rosemary oil into it and gradually add cooled boiled water to a gruel-like condition. This mixture is applied for 15 minutes, then rinse with water. This procedure should be repeated once in three days, in total no less than five sessions are recommended. In the intervals between applications of green clay, i.e., within two days between sessions, rub the scars with rosemary oil 5-6 times a day.
Fruity acids contribute to the resorption of scars, this method is based on the chemical peeling method. At home, use a solution of apple cider vinegar. To do this, dilute it with warm water in a ratio of one to three and apply a compress on the scars for 10 minutes three times a day. The effect of acid leads to a gradual dissolution of the upper layer of the skin, and the surface of the scar will be smoothed.
Hydrocortisone ointment contributes to the dissolution of the keloid tissue. Apply a thin layer three times a day. The total treatment time is seven days, during which time the keloid will be significantly thinned. Further use of this ointment is carried out after consulting with a doctor, because the severely thinned tissue of the scar can burst.
If self-treatment of scars at home does not bring the desired effect, seek help from cosmetologists or plastic surgeons. In the clinic, depending on the size of the scars, you will be laser resurfaced or excised keloid tissue. For best results, contact the clinic no later than six to eight weeks after the appearance of the scars.
