Rehabilitation after blepharoplasty

With blepharoplasty, surgeons excrete excess skin and subcutaneous fat around the eyes. The operation is performed under general anesthesia (approximately two hours) and completely leaves no scars. Most often, one procedure is corrected for one thing: the upper or lower eyelid. However, in some cases, a simultaneous pulling of both eyelids is done.

Who needs blepharoplasty? It is worth to visit a plastic surgeon, if you have an upper eyelid, there are”fat” bags under the eyes, pronounced wrinkles in the lower eyelids, lowered the corners of the eyes and there are deep folds in the eye area.

Do not forget about the contraindications to the operation: oncological diseases, thyroid problems, diabetes mellitus and dry eye mucosa). If you wear glasses or contact lenses, be sure to consult an ophthalmologist before and after the operation.
